Brassica Supper Club is run by three friends, Carmen, Edward, and Mark.
We met in culinary school in 2006 and have been working together ever since, catering parties, large and small.
Edward and Mark worked together at Millennium Restaurant under chef Eric Tucker, while Mark and Carmen worked together as private chefs.
In 2008, we all helped launch a vegetarian cafe in San Francisco which quickly gained devotees.
In addition to our work together, we’ve separately maintained our backgrounds in the culinary arts.
Carmen has worked at Cafe Gratitude since 2007. Mark has worked in restaurant consulting and with local mushroom purveyors Far West Fungi.
Edward has continued to hone his skills in his own kitchen, while working for a hardware company during the day.
After having visited another underground cafe in San Francisco and hearing of their move to the East Coast,
we were inspired to start our own place for people to come and enjoy gourmet plant based cuisine.
Everything at Brassica was handcrafted by us, from the tables we built and the linens we sewed, to the menu we create for each event.
Thank you for visiting our website, and we look forward to serving you at Brassica Supper Club.
